Trey Gowdy (R-SC) said a State Department source, defined by Hillary Clinton as "an old friend who emailed her from time to time, passed information from foreign sources to Christopher Steele that eventually was put in his infamous dossier. When asked if that friend was longtime Clinton insider Sydney Blumenthal Gowdy said you are "very warm" if you believe that.

keep in mind that the Clinton campaign didn't eve appear to know about the dossier and didn't use any of the info in it

so once again, this whining Clinton and the DNC involvement in the dossier is mostly meaningless
