24 Hour if they have the equipment you need. Probably a more tolerable crowd and cheaper.

hardcore gyms are the best (loud heavy metal music, allowed to use chalk, allowed to drop the weights, allowed to grunt, etc)

La is cheaper monthly with no enhancement fees.  24 is open 24 hours.

I just joined La Fitness, it's ok.

I trained at LA Fitness today. The place was sort of a mess. It wasn't dirty or anything, but none of the dumbbells were put back and the plates were still on the bars and hammer strength machines.

I will try 24 hour fitness tomorrow.
