KenyaWent on holiday and safari, went to Mombasa on the bus because I was bored, shit hole...Also went to Kingston, Jamaica , thought I was going to get kicked out the country for changing dollars with the locals...two cops caught me and took me down a back alley, they then got their cash out wanting to change it for English pounds......
I spent three months in Kenya and quite liked by the end. However, it is the worst country to have a hangover - heat, flies, dust, rattling 4x4 and constant harrasment. I heard mombasa was supposed to be nice?Ha, Kingston jail is deffo somewhere you dont want to end up.
What is the shittiest place you have ever been and why?Just returned from a road trip around the Balkans and Macedonia is without a doubt the most horrendous country I have ever visited. Highlights inc a young beggar kissing the bonnet of my hire car in the hope I would give him spare change and people walking past a dead rotting dog on the pavement.9/10 would visit again.
Vietnam.Worst country I've ever visited.
Skopje, Macedonia for the win. Visited almost 10 years ago and felt like I was in the most dreary, bleak socialist place I’ve ever been to. The gypsys were unbearable and relentless as well.
Dearborn, Michigan.
Wales, in particular the valleys. Spent one new years day in Mountain Ash. I was horrendously hungover, it was pissing down with rain, freezing cold and all the trains out had been cancelled. Took all my strength to not sob uncontrollably.Typical day in South Wales.
US. Best: US.
