I'm eating between 3500-4000 and just maintaining 197-194, I've been eating this caloric level for the past month, so obviously this is my maintanance level, so by this I need to bump up my calories another 500 calories, only problem is my appetite is gone and tired of eating.
drink your calories...

just drink high calorific liquids, stop trying to eat clean, its fucking you up.

You are getting enough protein and and clean carbs and essential healthy fats

Mix whole milk, cream and peanut butter in a blender.

lol @ waking up at night to eat a "whopping" 3500-4500 calories.

why dont you post an example of what you eat in a day, with amounts?

also jeff, would you answer my question?

if he puts X calories in his mouth every day and swallows, but stays the same weight, he must be burning X calories too, right?

sorry mate i don't understand what you are getting at, if hes eating 4000 cals a day and not gaining weight then he isnt in a calorific excess on a consistent basis, so yes, hes using those calories and isnt having any left over for conversion into stored fat.

Have you ever felt hungry enough to eat again in 2 hours after eating a pizza or burgers? I keeping the meats mostly ground up for this reason, digestability..if I eat a bunch of pizza I won't be hungry again for another 5 hours, same goes for foods like pasta, pancakes, waffles..these things just sit in you. Pizza with all the crust/flour it just sits in you, burgers I just do the ground beef once a day, again the bread is just going to fill me up. Nut butters and oils, however I agree lots of calories for not huge quantities of food.

Clarence Bass was a big proponent of eating one meal a day.
I think Serge Nubret as well, but I can't fathom how I would be able to take in and assimilate 400grams of protein in one meal? Some how Nubret did it, like 6 or 7 pounds of horse meat he would eat in a sitting.

Been doing it for a month, do you think I'm lying? I'm asking for help/advice how to bulk, most guru's are recommending 2 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight, I weight 197, Milos recommends 2 grams of protein per pound and 2 grams of carbs per pound, the most I can stomach at this point is what I just listed. The protein actually is easiest to eat, especially if you are doing easily digestible stuff like ground meat, egg whites, liquid eggwhites, tuna, raw eggs, and protein powders.

most gurus are wrong

The protein requirements are grossly inflated by the supplement companies to sell you fart powder

Go read some medical books on protein requirements

Just too much protein & meat/tuna is not easily digestible ;)

Extra protein = fat .

if you count the condiments and mac nut oil

1. your diet is complete shit, nothing "clean" about it.
2. lol "if you count oil", so count it, moron... I did this exact same shit when I was "bulking" "gee, let's not count the extra 100 grams of fat I'm pouring on these defatted slabs of protein or into this defatted peanut flour"
3. Jeff, you seem to have forgotten what digestion is, thought you were a bit keener mate.

Lol, I was in a bad mood this morning...

Anyway, just because you eat X calories doesn't mean your body will store "X - (expended calories)" as fat, glycogen, or whatever. There's really no way to know how much you digest and how much you excrete as waste.

Sure, if you just ate junk food all day you anyone could probably go full de Niro and get fat, but when guys like go4it try to do everything in a controlled manner, it's just naive. Especially if you're trying to be in a 500 calorie excess or whatever the hell... Lol, good luck with that. Who even counts the thermic effect anyway. Protein = 28% lost in digestion, carbs 25%, fat 2% or something like that... Then it changes if the food is cooked or raw, and even further with the quality of the food.

It's no wonder everyone says "people are bad at estimating calories", it's like a disease. Here you have a guy who's counting every meal down to the ounce, tallies it all up to "3812" calories, yet doesn't count the fucking oil he fries everything in... Oh wait, it bumps it up to 4000 (including condiments). Lol completely delusional, you could barely fry half a meal in that.

do you take apple cider vinegar primarily to aid digestion?

I know all that, at what point do you think I seem to have forgotten it?

getting fat means eating in excess on a regular basis
If you eat 10,000 cals in a day you wont put on over 2lbs of fat, the body doesnt work that well to process it all, I know my body doesnt process foods very well, If I eat mushrooms I can shit them out undigested, I know my body isnt using the calories in them all that well
