A local medical training company where I live has asked for crisis actors before.  They just needed people to lay on the ground and pretend to be dying so the trainees could "save" them.

On a semi-related note, have any over you ever had a tourniquet applied(correctly)?   It fucking hurts, lol.

I comment in this thread reluctantly but yeah... its a common thing, hospitals and even military and airlines do simulation exercises to train their staff. Ive participated both in the military and as a 1st responder

Sounds like they barely escaped with their lives.   ::)

The situation was initially reported as a gas leak, but CenterPoint crews ruled out that possibility. They determined fumes from hot tar being used in nearby roof work got into the school.

Ive seen dozens of people in an office building fall ill due to an unidentified white powder in an envelope, taken to the hospital clearly distraught, only to have the powder tested to be baby powder. the mind is a powerful thing
