My wife isnt my property, shes her own person, she can do whatever she likes, as a married couple we have made promises to each other, if she chooses not to keep those promises then its her that should feel bad.

Trying to hold the moral upper hand is good. But until said things happen, you cannot say for sure how you'd react. Especially after you come home from the bar. You can only say what you hope that you would do in that situation.
