NO BS anti aging tips/techinques

1. hair - use rogaine and nizoral shampoo. rogaine (foam) use it 3x a week and use nizoral shampoo shampoo 3x a week (leave in your hair for 5 minutes in the shower) then rinse out

2. use sun screen everyday 2x a day - even in the winter

3. use RX retin A (.05 retin ) no fancy BS creams, just use .05 retin. start out 1x a week, then slowly work up to 2x, 3x, days a week. insurance companies wont cover it cuz it is cosmetic so buy it in mexico etc etc or online

4. get blood work several times a year

5. dont waste your time Chinese HGH (blue tops or yellow tops)- save up and only use RX grade hgh - wait till your are in 40s

6. Hot saunas are proven to be huge beneficial  15-20 minutes 3x a week is ideal -

7. focus on getting good sleep - hell consider a CPAP machine if you are heavy or dont sleep well

8. healthy fats x10 (olive oil, macadamia oil, avocados, MCT)

9.  when in doubt be 10lbs lighter than what you are

10. dont give shit - dont stress of stupid shit

Don't know if she's a quack yet but I have been supplementing with 5-10K of D3 recently, especially since I'm in scandinavia, it's been winter time, and I am pale as a ghost  :D

I used to use rogaine and nizoral but stopped both, I think there is some systemic absorption and side-effects.

I've been using it for over 2 years (1.25mg a day) and it hasn't had any impact on my sex drive although there is a decrease in how much semen I produce. Do you know if it can take years to have an effect?

I don't know. But DHT is an important neurosteroid, for drive and aggression and libido etc so I personally wouldn't take it. From what I remember finasteride actually increases testosterone but it's not a net positive imo.

DHT is what makes a man a man. And you are correct. Post-finateride syndrome is real. I took finasteride for about 10 years after college. Looking back at it, I should’ve asked my doc to run labs on my DHT. Who knows what was causing my hair loss? It could’ve just been a shedding phase or my thyroid which I later became hypothyroid. I still had a lot of hair at the time but went on it as a preemptive move. I was lucky it didn’t affect my ragin’ boners, but I think it mildly affected my overall sex drive slightly. My DHT was probably crashed. I’ve stopped and haven’t noticed any increase in shedding.

You want to stay young then stay away from drugs including steroids.  Guys taking steroids look ten years older than their years. Limit your drinking but moderate drinking is okay. Make sure you do both cardio and resistance training. Get a good night's sleep every day. Limit how often you go out and party. Stay lean.  My powerlifting friends are so fat from their low rep training that I'm beginning it's not good for long term health.  Lead a stable life. Having a good wife is part of the stability. The most important factor is genetics but you have to put the risk factors in your favor.

You'll find at around 55-60 almost all of your friends begin to look like old men. Of course there are the 60 year old fools juicing but when they go off they looked like they never did a push up.

longevity is everything, but more important than that is knowing that you are going to die, so remove vexation from your heart for vigor and youth of life are meaningless. Truth be told, if you want a long life, honor your father and mother, avoid stress, and sleep minimum 8 hrs a day, but after 40 try to sleep 10-12 hrs a day
