This guy just now figured out that Fox News and Trumptards "dismiss facts and empirical reality to launch profoundly dishonest assaults"

That's their business model

Just like it was their business model to lecture the country on family values while at the same time paying out millions to settle multiple sexual harassment law suits against the CEO and top Newstainment spokesholes.

Quote
Fox News Analyst Quits, Calling Network a ‘Propaganda Machine’

A longtime analyst for Fox News is leaving the network, saying that he could not “in good conscience” remain with an organization that, he argued, “is now wittingly harming our system of government for profit.”

In a searing farewell note sent to colleagues on Tuesday, Ralph Peters, a Fox News strategic analyst and a retired lieutenant colonel in the United States Army, castigated the network for its coverage of President Trump and the rhetoric of its prime-time hosts.

“In my view, Fox has degenerated from providing a legitimate and much-needed outlet for conservative voices to a mere propaganda machine for a destructive and ethically ruinous administration,” Colonel Peters wrote in his message, a copy of which was obtained by The New York Times.

“Over my decade with Fox, I long was proud of the association,” he added. “Now I am ashamed.”

Without citing them by name, Colonel Peters, 65, wrote that Fox News’s prime-time anchors “dismiss facts and empirical reality to launch profoundly dishonest assaults on the F.B.I., the Justice Department, the courts, the intelligence community (in which I served) and, not least, a model public servant and genuine war hero such as Robert Mueller.”

He voted for Hillary.

That puts him in the same group as the majority of voters in this country

Why did he wait until now to quit ?

Maybe it's because of the specific things he cited in his email when he resigned yesterday

You posted a thread trashing fox news because of this guy, so you therefore have shown support of a warmonger,  and as you advised Loco to use Google, you somehow cant do the same ? If you dont agree with my claim of him being a warmonger, and the 2 videos I posted, one from a Liberal, its up to you to refute it.

to quote you :

are you sure

try googling ""seth rich" Ralph peters is a warmonger"

what results do you get where you live?

Ralph Peters wrote that a nuclear first strike on on North Korea is worth the millions of dead civilians. Cenk Uygur, the host of The Young Turks, breaks down his comments. Tell us what you think in the comment section below. https://tytnetwork.com/join/ - The Young Turks:

Syria

“Syria’s determination to develop nuclear weapons apes Iran’s and North Korea’s nuke programs, as well as Pakistan’s successful bid to join the club of nuclear powers … Given a choice between taking out Osama Bin Laden and his entire leadership network and eliminating renegade nuclear engineers, the latter option might do far more for our long-term security.” — Armchair General Magazine, in a column calling for regime change in four countries. written by Raph Peters

Iraq
Peters strongly supported the 2003 invasion of Iraq and the ensuing Iraq War. Defending the war from critics who claimed that Iraq was descending into civil war, he authored a March 5, 2006 piece in the New York Post, entitled "Dude, Where's My Civil War?"

I'm glad you finally posted this info.  I would have never known to go look for a link from Armchair General Magazine.

I agree with you that bombing North Korea and killing millions of civilians is a bad idea

I'm pretty sure Trump thinks it's a good idea since he threatened to "totally destroy" North Korea in a speech at the United Nations

Glad to hear that you and I agree that idea is fucking insane

Then again, plenty of other Republicans area in favor of that too.  I think even that fruit cake Lindsey Graham said a war with North Korea would be totally worth it

As for the other statements by Peters, plenty of people in both parties were in favor of invading Iraq.

I thought it was crazy and said so at the time.  Glad to know you and I also agree on that too.  I honestly had no idea that you and I agreed on anything.

Sames goes for Syria, plenty of people in both parties were fine pushing regime change in that country.  I've always been kind of mixed on that one.  Hard to figure out if getting rid of Assad would be a good or bad thing given the Muslim nutbags in that country.   Where do you stand on that one?

Seems like Peters is perfectly fine attacking other countries but for some reason draws the line when it comes to attacks on his  own country or as he put it, he has an issue when an alleged "news organization" dismisses facts facts and empirical reality to launch profoundly dishonest assaults on the F.B.I., the Justice Department, the courts, the intelligence community (in which I served) and, not least, a model public servant and genuine war hero such as Robert Mueller.”

I was against Bush putting troops on the ground in Iraq, I was against Obama and Hillary's ( and McCain's) shady involvement in Libya and Syria, and I was also against Trump's recent bombing of Syria this last year.

But unlike you I have never cared for Ralph Peters, as I view him as I do Lindsey Graham (warmonger)

where did I say I cared for Ralph Peters

The guy was on the payroll at Faux News for years towing the party line and cashing checks

Apparently attacks against his own country were his final straw.....finally.

I don't understand why anyone still works there...other than of course the ones that love Russia and hate America.  I totally understand why they still work there

You probably have more in common with others on here than you would think, and maybe should consider easing up on the name calling just a bit.

During the election no one on here was calling out fox news more than me, as they were constantly trashing ted Cruz in favor of Jeb and Rubio, in fact me and Beach got in quite a few lengthy arguments debates over this subject.  But for you to call out Fox and not say that CNN and MSNBC is bad is simply disingenuous.

I don't recall calling you any names in this thread

Again, if I ever saw CNN or MSNBC do anything like Fox News I would gladly call them out on it.  Every time Fox News is mentioned it seems compulsory for people on the right (have to assume you're on the right if you like Ted Cruz) to insist that everyone must agree that CNN and MSNBC are equally as bad.  They are not.  Not even close

BTW - your boy Ted Cruz seems to be a big Trump sycophant now even though Trump attacked both his wife and father.    Kind of amazing how craven and pussified Cruz turned out to be (ok - not really that amazing given that he's a piece of shit)
