It's really simple. He has a very slim majority in congress. The Republicans don't always agree concerning anything. The Democrats in congress block vote against anything the Republicans are for. In effect the minority Democrats control congress. Trump had to pass this massive bill because it included a ton of spending on the military. If he didn't sign it the Democrats would shut down government until they got what they wanted. He had no choice. Blame the Democrats for this massive bill.  One thing for sure. He won't sign another. He got the spending on the military and nuclear weapons. It's over. The mid terms will either sweep in more Republicans making the Democrat obstruction mute or swept in more Democrats. Trump has done more in one year than any other President in 40 plus years.

1. Who cares if the Government is shut down for a week or two. It would have almost no impact on anything. He should have vetoed and shut the mother fucker down until there is a resolution.

2. This wasn’t the Dems fault, although Trump should have vetoed, this bill was straight on Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnel. McConnel went AWOL for comment on this.

3. Trump is right by National Defense ($700bil allocated for defense) this is a good thing.
