They will be banned but not gone.
Look at Serbia for eg. Guns, of course, are banned and the murder rate is relatively low. On the other hand, we're always ready to stir shit up but look so innocent. So, to teach you my young american nation. Let it happen but keep your shit hidden or form so-called legal territorial defence centers in case Russians attack and use them on each other like former Yugoslavia.

There will be a very strong push for gun control within the next few years. It's unavoidable unless there is a shift in the Overton window which is unlikely due to the changing demographics.

They are not swearing an oath to the POTUS, they are saying that since the POTUS is the commander in chief they will follow lawful orders according to the Code of Military Justice. Therefore an illegal or unconstitutional order does not need to be obeyed

Where the FUCK does it say they are swearing an oath to the POTUS. If you are right why would any POTUS leave office? They could just order the military to suspend elections and shoot anyone who disagrees

Few years? It's happening now. This tidal wave has gained momentum and may crash soon. I originally said 20-30 years at the beginning of this thread and now I'm not so sure we don't have a constitutional amendment by next presidential election. This would be a weird civil war. With persons in every town across the land having divergent views on gun rights/gun control, are we going to have mini-skirmishes on each street in the nation? The Civil War was regional. I don’t know how this imagined civil war could ever play out. Or are you going to shoot at law enforcement officers? I think it’s time to take a cold shower or two.
