Majority of the cities in the US are segregated whether by income/social status or choice
Even when I was in hs and college, whites usually hang with whites, blacks with blacks, Asians with Asians and Hispanics with Hispanics, band students, jocks, etc..
That’s a fact, nothing new here, people gravitate to each other who share the same culture or values among one another, again, nothing new here, it isn’t racist at all
However, what the media portrays is false, when you are forcing diversity, it never works
Even Asians, hang with one another by ethnicity, look at Los Angeles , China town, k-town, little Saigon, Japan town, etc...
It’s just how we all are, nothing wrong with it
