HCF or Hot Chick Factor is a reality. You'll never see a hot chick walking to her McDonalds job. You can bet when you pull up to a 84 dirty buick with a bumper hanging off the driver won't be a hot chick. They lead a gifted life where everyone stops to answer their questions, gives them an advantage in the workplace and they never pay for anything and they think everyone gets treated like that.

And like you, I know some really cool hot chicks who don't act like they realize how hot they are, but even they know they get allowances that others might not get. Who else gets to walk up to the back stage area of any rock concert and ask to meet say Bon Jovi and get a thumbs up and an escort back? Certainly not regular people...

The worst person to take advice from is a steroid using bodybuilder if you don't juice. First anything works for him and second he's not giving advice when he's off for months because he looks like crap. I see guys juiced to the gills strutting in the gym like they have the work ethic and training knowledge everyone else doesn't possess. Then when off because of health, finances or even arrest they come with lines like training without juice is a waste of time. You sure didn't say that when you were vein bursting ripped telling that chubby guy how to do a curl.

Depends. When it comes to listening to grandparents, one should specify what era, and background. Hippie grandparents (Baby Boomers) often still think that they are 20, and give bad advice. Grandparents who are boomers, yet came from a more traditional background, tend to give much more sound advice.

I think it depends on the Grandparent. If they were knuckleheads at 30, 40 and 50 they are going to be senile knuckleheads at 70. I've gotten great advice from older people that payed off. But they were sharp anyways. You combine sharp with experience, you get wisdom

If it's in the setting of a church (relax lol) or Bible class, etc and an elder is explaining scripture or biblical wisdom.

Unfortunately many old folks who are 10+ years retired and just fiddle faddle around all day on the internet or playing golf, etc and don't do any side gig or anything productive and are unplugged often like to speak as authority figures on topics they never had experience in and are mis-informed in. This is more common than you think.

I would even posit that while some people certainly don't change in their lifetime, many do. I know I have changed from when I was younger. I know some people that I went to school with who were absolute jerks, that I have reunited with later in life to find they are some of the nicest people. And I have had the opposite happen. But in general, I think it is a safe bet that if someone screwed you over once, it is likely they will do it again.
