Most fans say TRICO ducked the PS3 until it was, old, slow, and out of its prime, citing numerous bogus reasons for the delay. By the time the two finally booked an event, fans were disappointed to see a sluggish, unresponsive performance from the latter (now in its fourth generation) and an overly-conservative, routine showing from the champ.

JR  And really does this guy need to scam anyone with all the money he has ..

What makes you think Mayweather has money?  Mayweather has made money.  I would be shocked if he had $50 million in the bank.

WARNING - the following is an off-topic racial post on African American athletes going bankrupt:

African American athletes spend money into bankruptcy something like 80% of the time - which begs the question: how do we "heal" our racial differences in the USA, if even Black athletes making $100+ million over the course of their careers can't even prevent going bankrupt?  Maybe we should give $1 trillion to each Black person?  ::)

When Whitney Houston died, the frizzy-haired Black reporter with the French name said that Black entertainers are under unique pressure, which led to her death - I posted it on Facebook with the question "So if $150 million isn't enough to "heal" an African American's pain from "the legacy of slavery", then when will it EVER be enough?"

Haha, seriously - how ridiculous is this garbage when some of our "oppressed" citizens have literally had access to MILLIONS of dollars, and STILL, White people get blamed.

In Canada, there are First Nations families [the Native American people of Canada] who are subsidized $60,000 per family of five per year, and White people STILL get blamed.

Thank God this garbage is finally starting to piss normal people off, and FINALLY coming to a cultural end.

PS - my point is that African American athletes go bankrupt at something like an 80% rate, so no - Mayweather does not have money.  I would be shocked if he doesn't declare bankruptcy in his lifetime.

It's not that black people can't handle money it is the white devil that steals it from them after they get money.  Really to come to grips what white people have done to black people a sum of 1 million dollars should be paid to every black individual after they turn 18 and each year after a sum of 50,000 per year per black person shall be paid.  Just add an extra tax on the whites paystubs called the White Privilege tax.

Matt's comment prompts me . . . That $60,000 is tax free and is in addition to ( approx ) $650 a month per child again tax free. Several years ago a female band chief was complaining that her reservation needed a new fire truck and lamented endlessly that the safety of her band was in jeopardy and stood in front of the media literally crying. It came to light that she personally, in addition to the $60,000 and $650 a month per child had a TAX FREE SALARY OF $250,000 A YEAR. Yes you read that right, a tax free quarter of a million dollars a year - that's a half million a year gross to net that ( not to mention tax free purchases of cars, cigarettes and alcohol.  Our government is out of control what it comes to this type of thing and that is an average example. Another band chief applied to charity for $5000 for his kids at Christmas with an image published  in the papers of them setting on an unmade bed in a room with no furniture and an accompining image of the disheveled house they lived in. His salary as band chief was over $500,000 tax free all of which he gambled away monthly.

Its fucked.

Great posts on here.  :)

Since triple digit Black multimillionaires have still gone on to bankruptcy court and ruined lives due to the "legacy of slavery", how would everyone feel about giving each individual Black citizen of the West $1 BILLION to help them "heal" from the "collective racial trauma" that they suffered at the hands of evil White people?

It's not just entertainers, either. Most lottery winners end up going broke (studies cited in article), most people who inherit large amounts of money blow through it quickly and often wind up in debt. People of all races have overestimate how much a fortune is worth if they receive it as a windfall.

I've read this before. It's fascinating that people should be set for life and in less than a decade its all gone and they end up worse than they were before.

There was a show called how I won my millions that looked at the lives of lottery winners and what they did with the money. Watching them live It was odd how almost all of them had no sense of self worth or value, and it began to make sense why they went broke.

"According to a March 2016 news release from the Texas Lottery Commission, Beverly Chody purchased the ticket and the Chodys opted for a lump-sum payment of $51.2 million, before taxes. Chody was an Austin Police officer when he and his wife won the Lottery.Dec 3, 2015"

A guy I know won 51 Million. 1st thing he did was hire an financial manager and a lawyer. A year after winning he would still shop at Walmart. He invited his former shift out to dinner to celebrate and when the bill came, he made sure everyone got separate tickets. He was such a miser his wife was about to divorce him and take half. He started easing the purse strings a little after that, but I guarantee you this guy won't be blowing through his money any time soon.  He went to work as a constable.. which just boggles my mind. He is currently the Sheriff of Williamson County Texas. Definitively a weird bird in that regard.

It doesn't surprise me. Lots of people think they want to be rich, but fewer realize that they actually have little use for money.

Similarly, lots of ugly, miserable guys would say they want a beautiful, happy girlfriend. Would he be happy if he got her, or would she just become miserable and worse? Which seems more likely?

We don't always change with our circumstances, although our pride often tricks us into assuming otherwise.

I think for me, being stupid rich would be an adventure. But I think being aware of the potential pitfalls will be the difference between enjoying the adventure or catching Malaria. I think I would be able to do that. My son, who is 34, would be on the Lottery TV show "What the hell happened to their money?!". Totally different mindset.

A 30 percent white privledge tax only if it would cover the 1 million per person after 18 and annual income of 50,000 dollars yes.

This is too extreme going the other way also

Like everything in life there’s a balance
