the difference is Syria is stabilized now and ISIS has been mostly defeated - both milestones achieved by Trump. The gay muslin Hussien was a total failure in the middle east other than sending $ 3.5 trillion to them for god knows what.

russia did more to bring about the downfall of isis in syria than anyone else. the US actively encouraged and supported isis because they were helping with the goal of overthrowing the syrian regime until they started cutting off the heads of western journalists. the us was the chief instigator of the syrian civil war.

the only thing any US administration can take credit for in syria is causing one big clusterfuk, as they did in iraq and afghanistan and everywhere else their foreign policy has touched.
