Fake News often means it is real news that some do not agree with. CNN does not have an exclusive on this kind of fake news. All media has bias by supporting only their own perspective and that of their primary audiences. There is plenty of fakery going on in conservatively bias media such as FOX News. At the bottom of the media cesspool, there is The National Inquirer and other similar rags. Incidently, the National Inquirer supports Trump.

The article is about Trump fabricating "problems" (straw men) in order to justify one of his idiotic ideas as the solution to the non-existent problem

Before creating a profile name for this board I would often watch political talk shows and I'd see Republican after Republican try to take an issue and reframe it into a fake issue (i.e. create a straw man) so they could then argue against their phony issue rather than the topic at hand

The problem is that there is no evidence to support his claims, and even a commission set up by the White House ended up failing to prove Trump's portrayal of events that would represent an existential crisis for American democracy if they were true.

Classic example of inventing a problem for a solution.

I'm gonna stop you right there. He could have said millions of people were hypnotized to vote for Hillary and it would be the same as his claim about millions of illegal votes. He made the claim, I don't have to prove it's not true, how could I prove they weren't hypnotized other than common sense and good judgement? No he made the claim, he has the obligation of supporting it.

There is voting loopholes for illegals in Cali for one, and many more states that allows double votes. That is what he refers to, 3 million is not an outrageous claim.

I don't think driving in CA is directly related to voting. While yes, the motor voter act would make it easier, the drivers licenses given to illegals specifically has a thing that marks it as an AB60 license.

It says "Federal Limits Apply" on it... That means you're a legal driver in the state of CA, but you can not use it for anything else.

You can't use it to fly on a plane, or vote, or any other federal things. It's valid to drive in CA only. It's not even legal to use to drive outside of the state.

I do see what you're saying though. I can see a fear of someone not checking the license well, but then checking IDs of any sort does have a human risk to it.
