Yes, you summed it up - Kai speaks a lot, but if you dissect what he says, I wouldn't say it is particularly powerful content.

On the Monday of Easter weekend, my dad told me that Marlon Brando was known to be a powerful actor, but in reality, he was producing powerful-appearing acting images because he was reading off cue cards in many of his movies, and doing so resulted in him contorting himself in odd ways that ultimately looked powerful, when in reality, he was just making those motions due to the positions he would be in to read off cue cards.

So powerful acting to be sure...but not entirely intentionally.  Likewise with Kai...he may sometimes appear to be saying powerful things, but if you were to read what he says, you would probably see it reads exactly like your post - and comprises a whole lot of nothing, heh.    I'm not saying that to trash Kai - but I think you are absolutely correct in your analysis of his powerful readings of his training "philosophy".  I was amused during one of the Kai videos produced by Mike Pulcinella when Mike talked about Kai's training "philosophy".    I mean, come on - he eats mass amounts of food, trains like a maniac, and shoots up steroids.  It's not overly complicated.

When he says 'I take the weight', he's not making some flippant remark regarding his ability to resist the gravitational pull on an object. Rather, he's addressing the way in which he's able to cope with existential fatigue. It is clear that Kai has spent many years actively overcoming those nihilistic thoughts which often arise when one believes there is no external force dictating the meaning of life. With great personal strength, Kai opted not to flounder in this sea of futility but swim for the shores and forage for a newfound meaning to his existence. Ever the gay scientist, he sought to recreate himself through escaping the mediocrity of the herd and rejecting the notion that suffering is an intrinsically unpleasant phenomenon devoid of any merit. Essentially, when Kai says 'It's not just the weight, it's...the whole of my being', he's expressing the pleasure he's found in embracing suffering - using it in order to get to 'where he wants to be'.
