Real estate agent.  Seems like everyone is getting into this now.  I'm seeing a lot of the same types as you see on instagram.  The women agents are late 20's - early 30's women with fake breasts, tatoos and low end mercedes and BMWs trying to sell houses with sex appeal.  The men agents are total bro's who lift say things like "I'm a firefighter bro, and sell houses on the side."  They have a lifted truck that undoubtedly has a shaker cup in it.  They also have a beard and a forearm tattoo.  Real estate agents who are smart and dedicated can do really really well, so I'm not bagging on the job....just seems like it's over saturated by these types at the moment.  Anyone here sell real estate?  How well do you do?

My dads new wife makes about 500k a year in real estate.Shes been doing it for 30 years.Drives high end Mercedes and has a million dollar home and 2 vacation homes.She has done extremely well and gets me a lot of work.Her location is all million dollar homes so that makes a big difference.

He asked if anyone here sells real estate and how well you do so I answered with the closest I can to me.no clue what most make but the area I’m in has lots of big expensive homes so I imagine a lot of agents do well here.

Its a vague title that sounds impressive to the uninformed.  Kind of like claiming to be an entrepreneur.  Is it difficult to get one's realtor license?  Probably not.  As with most things in life, those who have achieved true success seldom brag about it.  It's the ones with something to prove who talk the loudest.

Thankfully I have only met one person who claims to be a realtor.  Meanwhile his day job is working as a nurses aide, cleaning up shit for $12/hour?  Business must be slow I guess

many of my clients are realtors and i do my best to sort out which ones are full time and which ones are weekend warriors

you can pull any realtors numbers via MTA reports and see how many closings they actually do

you see it more since everyone has social media and realtors are all over it
