I do agree with the above comment on dorian being the type of man (color) they wanted at the time repping the sport,

In this shot compared to Ronnie Coleman he looks much more aesthetic. His proportions were so much better. Ronnie is just a mess in this pic.

He was dense but quite a bit shorter than Dorian. He had a powerful looking physique no doubt and made Haney look like a lightweight in the side chest comparison. But he was not freakier or more ripped than Dorian. Dorian had massive lats that cast an impressive "shadow" on stage.

Oh come on. The height difference between them is something like 1". 2" at most.

Bertil's arm circumference probably beats Dorian's by more than that.
