I tend to trust your judgment on these matters.

Question for you: would a prime Georges St-Pierre, or any other top welterweight for that matter, be able to last one round with the UFC heavyweight champ?  Is it naive to say that Georges could get through one round, but be finished early in round two?

I would think anyone in this day and age would beat him silly he may master jujitsu but these guys today are all around fighters

I’m sure if flex wheeler trained full time tae Kwon do he would defeat st Pierre with ease

Hmm?  I always understood that Georges was considered a well-rounded fighter?  Basically, I looked at the UFC as something that required a minimum of excellent wrestling + heavy hands.  Johny Hendricks fit that mold, as did Stipe Miocic.  But GSP had great Jiu-Jitsu, great wrestling, great karate, and was a fairly refined/technical striker, despite not being the strongest guy by any means.

Why do you say the guys today are above GSP in terms of being well-rounded?  I would agree that the sport evolved, but even by today's standards, I think GSP in his prime would do quite well.  I could be wrong though.

GSP aside, do you think Tyron Woodley would be able to make it to round two against Stipe Miocic?
