In his prime, he used to sell out Madison Square Garden, 20,000 seats, once a month for several years. And a true tough guy in real life.

Great numbers for an early wrestler, numbers that would've easily put him up there with the top powerlifters of the 1960's. #675 Deadlift, #565 Bench, #625 Squat, etc....

An old time bodybuilder once told me a story about how Roger Callard insulted Bruno who then demanded an apology or else a beating would be administered. Callard apologized.

And without ANY steroids!!! He was all totally natural. Nobody was stronger in his prime straight up.

And no way was he drug free when compiling those numbers....Probably drug free later on though....
