Samir had near perfect shape. But I agree. His only structural flaw was having a short torso, which made him look that way.

This is what top level professional bodybuilding should look like. Bannout had perfect symmetry and the right sized legs...not the deformed watermelon legs the chemical queens have today. Also had world class conditioning.

I think his weight for the '82 Olympia was about 188 and he was around 194 for his win in '83.

I wonder why Samir couldnt pull it together no other years than 83? He was a very wellbalanced bb. Maybe he couldnt get a hold of some tren or something like that?

he pissed off the ifbb by competing in the wbba right after winning the O. he would never get a fair shake again no matter what he looked like. After 83 he often looked just a tad too smooth which didn't help.

If you win the olympia, you're not "underrated".

You've been recognized as the best bodybuilder on the planet for that year.

The NABBA World Championships, not the NABBA Universe. The 1990 NABBA Mr. Universe - Pro division was won by Charles Clairmonte with Victor Terra in 2nd place. Samir never entered the NABBA Mr. Universe.

There was a video not to long ago on Rx muscle.
There was Sammir and other guests.
Anyways he sees no bouble guts and no problems with current bb.
How is that possible?
