He probably regrets not having a plan, for sure.  Unless he really doesn't care, but somehow I doubt it.  I don't think he appreciates all he's been through already with it.  But then again, any plan probably wouldn't include leaving before he knew it was a done deal.

He's 80. He's famous. He is Americas's Dad. He got through one trial with what I thought was compelling evidence with a mistrial. He probably thought this would be similar. Maybe he was aware of the change in the air since his last trial but I suspect he was insulated from it. Perhaps his plan is/was to file appeal after appeal, avoiding custody until his health diminished to the point ti didn't matter.

I mean from way back when, even, if he was carrying on as is said.  But it's true, too, he may not have viewed it very seriously - otherwise maybe he wouldn't have done it in the first place.  Not having a plan would be consistent with that mindset, for sure.

One of the times I was in Germany there was this decorate statue of Kaiser Wilhelm or Frederick the great or something and it was adorned with Michael Jackson shit and had some sort of conspiracy theory printed out about how Sony and Bank of America had conspired to kill Jackson to get his song catalog. Of course he drugged women but since these women never filed any police report and got money from him for compensation...its null.   His action however have caused him to be publicity shunned, honorary degrees rovoked, etc



However the trial was a kangaroo court and it sets a very dangerous precedent for future cases.   The case should have never even made it to the courthouse

Could go either way. He could get a hard judge that gives him decent time consecutively. Also, the appeal doesn't stop him from starting his sentence (at least not any huge amount of time). From my reading, he's got about two months before we'll hear anything.

Paying the odds, I'm going middle of the road sentence, served concurrently. He'll be in minimum security, PC wing because of his age, health , and status. Mostly likely here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_Correctional_Institution_%E2%80%93_Laurel_Highlands .
