An aside.  One thing I decided this year is to spend more money on groceries with higher quality tastier options, keeping it as lean as required.  This counters a built in tendency with me (unintentional) to drop calories  too much toward the end because the pre-contest food is so unappetizing, resulting in some loss of size I think.  This seems worth the investment in my case.

Monthly basis around +/- 30 euro's for creatine / whey & caffeine tabs.
Used to be a fan of pre-workout and other supplements, but generally did not experience drastic changes so cut the chemicals out.
No longer touch pre-workout due to the stuff having caused heart palpitations once, haven't touched it since.

I do want to get this straight ,though- you feel that your profile pic, which presumably is you, is impressive enough that it entitles you to say patently stupid things without being challenged? And somehow me posting a pic will determine whether or not YOU are a stupid troll?

Conker has a good build and he's not really saying anything outlandish.  Do you really feel most supplements are worth it?  I think that money would be better spent on higher quality food

Yes, it is extremely stupid. If Conker managed to build a decent physique with no supps, that's great, but his blurry back pic doesn't make his post less stupid.  Literally every person who competes in some kind of physique contest, from amateurs to pros, takes  supplements. Most people who work in the fitness industry (like active, instructional, etc) take supplements.  I workout at a gym with some physique guys, pro bodybuilders and some instagram "celebrities". Those higher profile members have permanent lockers in a lounge section of the gym, along with the personal trainers. It's just a casual thing and people go and hang out there after a workout if they want. Was chilling in there a few days ago and one of the trainers opened his locker and it was STACKED top to bottom with supplements. I commented that they must be free samples and he said that he bought everything. My homie, who is a physique competitor, was in there and his locker basically looks the same. All the trainers, male and female, all the "celebrities" have lockers overflowing with supps. Sometimes I think I spend on the higher end of supplementation, but I only take two things. That's what inspired this thread.

Meanwhile, what have I said in this thread that is so outlandish that I would have to post a competing blurry back pic to be taken seriously?  ::) You just said that higher quality food was a better alternative to supps, but in two separate posts I laid out why someone would choose a shake over  "real" food. So, what are the alleged benefits of choosing food over supps?

Protein powders aren't really a supplement, more of a prepared food.  Semantics, maybe, but it's really just dehydrated whey.  Nothing wrong with a good protein powder.

I'm talking the stuff like Cell-tech, NO Xplode, SuperPump, etc.  That stuff is pure marketing.  Maybe they have some effect but it's clearly out of proportion to their cost.  If you know people that use em, cool.  I'm willing to guess they look like they do in spite of the supplement usage--not bc of it.

Which, to me, is an even stranger response because the only supplement I personally mentioned throughout this thread was protein. So much so, that I was wondering if I was limiting the scope of the conversation. There was even an extended back and forth about the value of protein.

Meanwhile, I was in the bathroom a little while ago and thought why not? I left the building to post a picture of tilapia a few weeks ago.

created with GIMP
::)

When I  tried to post pics from my phone on here, the file size was too large to post. I used gimp to bring down image quality, crop it . Obviously from looking at the red bubble over my face, I opened it in an image program.

Agree. That pic belies any image I believed Al to look like. Think he would have pulled that card out when going back and forth with Pellius.

LOL You can believe it's me or not. I'm not that pressed either way. Pellius wasn't the first poster to challenge me to post a pic. I've been posting on this board for nearly 15 years and there have been dozens of times people have tried to call me out. People always said they thought I was old, fat, pretending to be black (I think you were one of the people who said I was white pretending to be black, until you decided I was a black racist). I just found it funny.

Part of me is tempted to post multiple pics, but the truth is I went through everything I posted on instagram to make sure there were no pics of me wearing that shirt. The main reason I have never posted a pic on here is- based on the way people on here have reacted to me in the past (following me around in threads, starting topics about me, bringing up shit I said in a post years later)- I have no doubt that certain members would try to link the pics to my social media profiles and... who knows what from there. Already things along those lines have happened based on some of the vague personal information i've had posted here. Another thing I've always been concerned about, but less so, is getting some level of notoriety in real life and then having my identity linked to comments I've made online. I don't really post that much provocative stuff , but I do occasionally call sf1900 a phagg.

I spend 4$ a week on test which is the only stuff i use now (250mg a week for trt).

But before when i competed i spent alot more. Calories about 5000 kcal and drugs in the 1g test and 700mg tren and 600mg deca range. Also 4 iu genotropin and 20 iu insulin and 4 cc synthol each day. It did cost quite a bit.

I did  ;D  Like I said in last post, I'm sure a few members are going through new york area instagram profiles to try to match me up. I brought the quality down way lower than it had to be and there was a spot on the mirror over the left side of my chest that i smudged off that I'm surprised no one has brought up yet. At the end of the day, you can believe it's me or not. Like I said, I haven't posted a pic in all the time I've been a member here, haven't really cared what people thought I might look like.

The only reasons I finally did it are because I literally left my office building to post pictures of tilapia from a restaurant a few weeks back, so I can't pretend I'm too good to post pics and that is a nice mirror with pretty decent lighting.

in case u ever expect me to know wtf ur talking about... I only read like 2% of the posts on this forum, out of that percentage... I generally stop reading posts after about.. 10 or 12 words

on top of that I am super stoned most of the time... making even the posts I try to read all the way thru... kinda hit or miss
