If you went and asked any gym rats, bodybuilding fans who they’d rather look like; Phil or Breon Ansley/ Bumstead etc, how many would say they aspire to look like Phil, seriously.
Classic really is set to take over. I just hope the ifbb doesn’t fuck with increasing weight limits.

They just increased them 5 pounds a few months ago, but they still seem within range (e.g., 6 ft up to 212).

The irony is that probably barely 3 or 4 more tickets are sold because of the appearance of those bloat balls at that show. But Manion is our Master Schmoe-in-Chief so there you go.

My guess is “or else is right.”  If you’re an Olympia contender and you blow off Manion (no homo pun) and Weinberger (he was there too), you’ll never place in the top 10.

I was there, in the audience.  By my guess there were a heck of a lot more than 3 or 4 schmoes!  There were actually a lot of people there.  

Note to Ron:  I didn’t know you were there, if I had I might’ve said hello.

Out of all those guys I thought Roelly looked the most impressive.  He’s not a tall guy, maybe 5’8” at best but he looked unhumanly cartoonish.  Simply amazing.  Bonac is really a short guy.

Big Ramy was not as tall as I would’ve guessed, and he is very huge but actually very well proportioned too.  Phil has BIG arms and legs.  DeAsha looked good but I think he’s got a ways to go to get in the Roelly/Ramy/Phil league.

But to me, they all had this soft, “glazed donut” look about them.  Strange, you have to see it in person to know what I’m trying to describe.

Thanks for posting the pics and I know exactly what you are referring to having also seen the "gd" look in person.  Gh/slin is my guess for that watery look. Is it me or does Ramy look better in person then in pics?  5'3 or 4 for Bonac?

I don’t know the answer to your question about Ramy in photos or in person.  I will say that out of all the guys here he looked the “softest.”  The MC, Bob Chicerillo, said Ramy weighed 333.  I do think though he had the flattest stomach of any of the guys and was, again, very well proportioned.  His English is improving, he said a few sentences to the audience.

As for Bonac, I don’t think he’s quite that short.  I would peg him at about 5’5.”  He’s much shorter than he appears in my top photo because of the camera angle.

Not sure your info source, but Roelly and Dex are taller than that.  I would guess them both about 5’7” or slightly higher.  If Bonac is 5’6” that’s a stretch.  As above, I would guess him about 5’5.”
