I just read on Raw-Iron that bodybuilder Scott Wilson passed away today.

RIP Scott Wilson. I remember meeting him and getting a great photo with him outside of Auditorium in Columbus, Ohio at the 1988 Pro World show. Mike Christian won that year. The next year...it would be renamed the Arnold Classic. Scott was gracious. Looked thick as hell in person. Crazy forearms. Posed to a heavy Stevie Ray Vaugn song. RIP

PIP. Excellent physique. Great balance. Scott was a partner in one of the earliest Gold's Gym licensed gyms in San Jose, California. Kick ass gym. Wilson was very strong.

Side note. This caption is wrong. That's not Beckles it's crazy Johnny Fuller.

yup. And makawwy took first and deferro second. I still remember Greg’s face when it was announced makawwy had won.

Met Scott a lifetime ago in San Jose golds. Jerry McCall eventually took it over and I worked in his golds.

Sorry to hear Scott passed. He was still young at 68

There is something mentioned about skin cancer that metasticized but I am not positive that it’s the same Scott Wilson (Merced, CA, which would make sense because he used to train in San Jose, CA Gold’s). Died at age 67.
