This coming Saturday is the New York Pro. It is going to be a big show. Tickets for the Finals range from $45 to $70.

Another personal observation: Keep an eye on Divine Wilson. He competed in Manion’s (and Weinberger’s) pro contest last weekend in Pittsburgh. He placed 2nd in the Classic Physique but stormed off the stage in anger at his placing. Later in the evening Bob Chicerillo (the MC) brought him back out and he apologized to the audience.

If some of the dark horses come in shape this can be a great show, Beyeke and Akim can be dangerous in this line up.

Beyeke reminds of Flex Wheeler. Akim, with his crazy size and his somewhat high lats (his only real structural liability) reminds of mass monster Victor Richards. It would be cool to see them both come in shape.
