Platz was a great business man and would make a fortune back in the day doing seminars and posing exhibitions. I wonder how much he commands these days at 160 and 60+ years old.

He was an intense trainer, no doubt, but was also unnecessarily self-abusive.

Still, Tom’s a legend and worked very hard.

What’s a bummer is there is seemingly NO footage of him performing his infamous squat sessions/sets. The WBF squat-off doesn’t count (years past his retirement); nor does the 325 set shot for the PowerliftingUSA video magazine. Again, well past his prime.
