Richard Donner Says LETHAL WEAPON 5 Is Definitely Happening

While the TV adaptation of Lethal Weapon has been mired in controversy for the last few days, it sounds like the movie series may be chugging along just fine. While a fifth entry in the franchise that began in 1987 has been rumored for years, it sounds like Lethal Weapon 5 is legitimately on the way now.

Richard Donner, who directed all four previous entries, just matter-of-factly “announced” that Lethal Weapon 5 is a thing.

Chris Rock was horrible in LW4.

I enjoyed them all to different degrees, i'd imagine this will be a past villain or brother of a villain forcing them out of retirement or something a bit like die hard with a vengeance

I actually thought Die Hard With a Vengeance was the second best out of the five. (I really think there's only four that count, the one with the dude Justin whatever his name is was terrible)
