Do the "athletes" have to pay for their own transportation (cab fare, planes) and hotel, or is that covered by the organisation?

I thought Pros eveb had to pay an annual fee for having a pro card.

I wonder what their costs are, just to enter soms contest?

Not even including all drugs and food, but just the travel, cab fare, hotels etc

I'm guessing most lose money with competing....

They do! Something around $200/year for your ifbb pro card to remain in good status....what a joke! the card they receive looks like it was literally cut out from a cereal box...not even laminated!!

Can anyone think of anything they DON’T pay for? I believe that, at some of the shows, there is last minute tanning available backstage for free. Anything else? Cannot think of anything. Maybe some food backstage every now and again. NOBODY does this for direct money associated with being in the show (other than Olympia and Arnold and even then).
