It doesn't surprise me...its because he is catch, and due possible individual experiences---she is used to running things, and he is seen as the dominate male, no matter what he looks like or character. Take a look at what Franchesca Ramsey from MTV is married to, and notice her focus on racism. Hmm, just like how many of the BLM leaders are black female and focus on racist white male cops (protecting their men). Who do they see as dominate?
Black women are seen as less than desirable by it seems most men, and her status historically has been designated this by white males, the men who are on the higher side. So, if one gets the attention of that male, wouldn't a female want to keep that man at all (reasonable) costs? This also means that she can be seen as a white woman's equal. And to breed away the blackness?
Now of course, Halle Berry is an exception to the stats presented.
Women of all races, Black, White, Asian, Hispanic, like men who have their shit together. A good career with potential to go further. A nice house, furniture, car, and wardrobe. It's not about being dominant, it's about being successful at life in all the ways you can succeed.
Black women aren't worried about being the equal of white women. They're worried about the quality of the rest of their lives.
