Howard, you seem to be having trouble wrapping your head around the fact the religious right are hypocrites. Once you realize they are only moral when it suits them, or until it is found out they are having a hetero or homosexual affair or embezzling funds at no different a rate than the left, it gets easier to understand. They support Trump because he presents himself as anti abortion, which is one of their biggest issues. He is anti immigration which suits most of them as well. He is also male and white. Their other choice was Hillary who is pro choice, female and has a D after her name. They probably weren't happy about it, because it does call into question their true motives and morality when they support a womanizing lying narcissistic adulterer... but they'll get over it.
