That was an exciting win, that I slept through.

Yanks are likely going to "jog" to 100 wins yet finish 2nd in their division.  ???

Insane year.

You're likely right.

However, Boston's trotting out a shitty half a lineup, a shitty bullpen, and a coin toss SP after their #1.

Yet they keep winning.   Baseball says it should catch up to them.  But who knows?

You love a quote made  by a free agent who who did so before he joined the red sox.

Big difference.

McCutchen headed to NY

https://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/instagraphs/the-yankees-are-andrew-mccutchens-landing-placex/

After this move it would be hard to justify Robinson sniffing the lineup again this year as a starter.

Who am I kidding, this is the 2018 Yankees. Someone will likely "need a day" or "feel funny". "Sore taint" etc.

They've had their full lineup of  Hicks / Judge / Stanton / Sanchez / Andujar / Torres / Didi / Gardner / Bird 3 times the entire year.

If they're healthy for the playoffs, that's a tough lineup to beat.

Bird was/is supposed to be the 1B for the next decade.  :-\

Has he played a full season yet? Send him to the fall league if hes healthy.

That's a good idea.

For years, Cashman said he's the best hitter in the system.   I think he's just had a tough run.  I saw him in ST last year and he made hard contact on every single swing.

I would consider moving Andujar to first and signing Machado.

Sanchez looks like he's been laying off the coffee cakes.

And basic catcher fundamentals.

25 days out from the A.L. wildcard game ...
predict the Yankees' battery (assuming their opponent is the A's.)

WC lead now 1 game. I'm not amused. Gray stumbled in to another start couple nights ago. Not amused. RAB shut down the comments section. Not amused.

Didn't know you read RAB.

I think this team will get healthy and peak at the right time.

Just need to get by that one game playoff.

Tropicana field so damn ghetto, bullpen on the field of play, fly balls hitting the roof/ralling etc. What a dump.

Happ, Tanaka or Sevy. Still no word yet.

If i'm betting I think they go with Tanaka, seems to come up big in high pressure games.

I'm fine with any of them, but would rather Happ, based on recent performances.
