i didn't say it "has to be" forgery. i said it wouldn't surprise me (i don't expect you to understand the difference) and i know full well what would have motivated the people that have signed to do so. they are not bright enough to understand why he's been locked up, they think it has something to do with suppression of free speech.

in reality it's about protecting the integrity of ongoing criminal trials. i don't expect you to get that either.

because if the jury were to access his content it could be seen to influence their decision. in the UK the jury is only supposed to be influenced by what they see in the courtroom and absolutely nothing else.

tbh it's not really about whether anything he did/said could have influenced a jury. the point is there was a reporting ban on that case and he decided the law doesn't apply to him. he found out he was wrong.

in the UK for the limited period of time between a person being accused of a criminal offence to the time the jury give their verdict, the right to a fair trial supersedes the right to free press/free speech. in the US i believe it works the other way around to some extent with the right to free speech/press trumping the right to a fair trial.

It wouldn't surprise me if Robinson did this all deliberately in order to get convicted. He's been to prison before so it's not a new experience for him and he can now use this to portray himself as being the victim of an totalitarian system.

I actually used to quite like him when he originally gained notoriety since he was one of the first few to bring attention to Muslim prison gangs and the growth of Salafism in the UK. However, he never evolved as a character and instead, went from being a light nationalist to becoming a standard liberal neo-conservative and Zionist. $:-\$

His "Day of Freedom" event in London earlier this month turned out to be an embarrassment and most of his supporters are loutish, uneducated morons.
Even some right-wing/non-PC sources that I follow are mocking him.
