Tonight, a very different viewpoint on this whole Rosanne fiasco hit me over the head like a ton of shit. ABC knew exactly what they were purchasing when they resurrected Rosanne and her sitcom. They signed her on because they knew Rosanne Barr and her asinine show was destined to be as controversial and politically outrageious as she is. Without doubt, their intent was to capitalize on what the Trump presidency has brought us. As a nation of mostly free thinking and passionate people, we may have never been more polarized to the extremes of our conservatism and liberalism.

For many, money and greed talk and it ignores any ethical boundaries. ABC executives made a bet and now it appears they've lost. In immediately canceling the Rosanne show in response to her unfortunate tweets, they are simply cutting their losses. What is most unfortunate is that all those employees who've lost their livelihoods are simply collateral damage. The entertainment industry is heartless and treacherous.

Rosanne Barr is an ass. What else is new? ABC executives who are paid huge sums of money, should be fired for this colossal blunder and no doubt many will be.
