Preserve your nation, its people and culture!

If you want more citizens, promote greater procreation amongst native Italians, or only (stringently) accept migrants from (compatible) lands/cultures who fully respect Italy’s heritage, language, etc., and will absolutely fall in line with the Italian way.

Every country has a right to preserve its purity of self through ANY means.

Exactly the same way the Western Roman Empire disintegrated, they allowed in hundreds of thousands of Germanic refugees fleeing Atilla. In a hundred years they were in control of Europe and North Africa.

They did try and fight, but loss of territory meant loss of income and taxes which affected their military and available recruits. Without the money for a sizable well-armed military to enforce their government, they were finished. Parts of Europe could go the same way.

One quibble with the settlement of tribes from Germania and Gaul.....it was actually a successful policy early in the Empire when they were disarmed, dispersed assimilated. It worked and actually benefited the Empire.

But you are 100% correct about it being one of the main causes for the destruction of Western portion of the Empire later in its lifespan. They weren't disarmed, they weren't dispersed and they weren't made to assimilate.

History often repeats itself and there is plenty to learn from the Romans.
