4 cylinder truck, wtf!! You can’t tow anything with that. It defeats the purpose of having a truck. Is this what happens when a woman becomes ceo?
So ford comes out with a 6 cylinder f150...

Official tow ratings on the four cylinder have not been released yet. However, this engine is producting better HP and Torque than many V8's were in the Nineties. The Ford 5.0 Windsor V8, used until 1996, produced 205 HP and 275 lb ft of torque at 2400 RPM. With 348 lb-ft at 1500 RPM, the four cylinder Silverado engine produces significantly better torque and would be able to tow a much heavier trailer.
I expect the towing ability of this engine to be very similar to the 2.7 liter V6 in the F150. They are both turbo charged engines of the same displacement. I also believe Chevrolet could achieve the same power levels as the Ford V6 if they chose to.
In the current F150 3.5 Eco Boost is an absolute beast with 375 hp and 470 lb ft of torque. It out tows the 6.2 liter V8 from Chevrolet and the 5.7 liter V8 from Dodge. I
