I see no similarities between Trump's "mockery" and the reporter's genuine mannerisms/behavior.

I kind of am. If it was another human being with a touch of decency.. someone who doesn't attack a former POW for getting caught... I would error on the side of probably didn't. But this is Trump a man who has shown no sense of morality or decency and it wouldn't surprise me if he really did.

For those unfamiliar with the incident:

Kovaleski wrote a piece in the WaPo on September 18, 2001, stating that after the 9/11 attacks, "law enforcement authorities detained and questioned a number of people who were allegedly seen celebrating the attacks and holding tailgate-style parties on rooftops while they watched the devastation."

At a November 2015 campaign rally, Trump cited that article as confirming that "thousands and thousands of people were cheering" in Jersey City, NJ as the WTC collapsed.

Then Kovaleski tried to walk back his statements in his earlier article, saying he didn't remember saying that thousands, or even hundreds of people were celebrating after the WTC tragedy.  After which Trump made fun of him and claimed to have no idea what he looked like or that he was disabled.

He is also supposed to be a 239 lb "stable genius", so knowing the words isn't expecting too much.  Instead he lip sync's like a drag queen.

If he were auditioning for American Idol, I think the judges would have docked him for forgetting the words. But he's just the President, who is ranting about patriotism... no big deal if he doesn't know the words

Sad an embarrassing that so many still believe that Trump made fun of that guys handicap. Used same mannerisms on Cruz, etc. to show waffling/backtracking.

Thought the same thing when it first came out as that was how the news portrayed it and wondered what kind of guy does that? Wanted Cruz originally. Then looked into it to form my own opinion and found out it was a complete lie as have been many things when it comes to him. Honestly, it shows that if you still believe that that you really do not actually look into a candidate or form your own opinion.

I believe Hillary used it in one of her campaign ads, lol.
