The subject is Ray Williams. The article claims natural but putting that aside it's an interesting assessment -- at least for those that find this sort of thing interesting.

One thing for sure he is a massive individual. You have to wonder why he isn't making millions playing football? Too slow, poor academics, or he just never had the talent?

Too slow most likely and too short at just under 6' 1/2 inch. Plus he is 30 years old and there is no mention of where he was at 18 years old. He might have weighed 150 lbs.

Powerlifting is SLOW lifting. The name belies the sport. Power is FAST lifting like Oly.

It's absurd to believe the guy is natural. There are zero natty top level powerlifters.

Hatfield squatted close to that in the 242's. Williams weighs 400.
