Shit movie, slow in the build up, lacking action, over emphasize on use of CGI special effects, plot was shit, plot 'twist' was weak and predictable.

Hollywood uninspired gunk at its finest

They couldn't deviate too much from the book. Garland who did Ex Machina, already deviated enough.
As far as action---one attack by a mutant alligator with rows of teeth like a shark, and a mutated bear that rips out the voice box of its victims and uses that victims voice. It was a different spin on the whole alien sub genre of sci-fi

The bear was created for the movie, and from a man's perspective, that bear should have been killed bear after the first encounter.
