My split
« on: June 12, 2018, 02:12:26 PM »
Been working well as I lean out and still remain gym rat massive.

Tuesday- legs and abs
Wednesday- chest and back
Thursday- cardio and sprints
Friday- legs and abs
Saturday- delts and arms
Sunday- light cardio

IMO you get better results with 3-4 hard workouts per week going balls to the wall with intensity vs training 5-6 times a week with less intensity .

I agree.

Your delts are stupid big, btw.  You said they were once a weakness and that you don't inject gear into them, so I'm curious:  how do you train them?

As I mentioned on another thread, I am also curious to know how you came upon your screenname.  I initially assumed it was a FlinTstones reference, but then I thought better of it ;)

Heavy military pressing once a week, working up to a heavy 5rm. Drop set to 3 sets of 10. Alternate with a straight bar, dumbells, and a football bar (if you have it every two weeks) to keep your nervous system from adapting to the movement. Finish with front side and rear laterals 4-5 sets of 12. Then you can throw in your band pull aparts for rear delts and shrugs etc....  this combined with the indirect shoulder work you get on your chest day with heavy incline is more than enough to grow.

And honestly as for the name I have no clue  haha

I remember when Flinstones1 first got caught lying about his age.

He was telling a bullshit story, and in his tale he mentioned that he was only 21 years old. In the story, Flinstones1 was recalling about how he got injured “years back”.

A wise and discerning getbigger stepped in and basically said: “Stop lying man. You are not 21. 21 year old kids don’t use the term “years back” when discussing their past. Older people talk like that”.

The getbigger was right. Flintstones1 got exposed as a being liar, and now he is still trying to live that thread down.

Im 25....but you do realize whether I was 21,31, or 81 is irrelevant right? Stats are stats and lifts are lifts. A male peaks in muscle mass at 25-27 anyways

In real life it would be smarter combine some large and some smaller muscle group in same training session, so you would have enough energy to give complete workout for both of them. Like back & biceps, chest & triceps etc. If you put 100% of effort to training chest, what there is left for training back? Nothing, so you be clever and save some energy for training back by doing half ass training for the chest, and making both muscle groups lag in progress  ;D

Or you could look at it as you are fresh for back since you are doing unrelated exercises. Also, if you go by "big" and "small" muscle groups then triceps would be bigger then chest, etc.

While you are training, you are using energy and you use it more by training hard. If you are training two large muscle groups, you have to share this energy for two large muscle group, or get more energy to burn. Quite simple. Average getbig moron is used to do 25 sets and 200 reps per large muscle group, so back + chest = 50 sets and 400 reps, which is like running marathon..And if you don't understand what "muscle group" means, there is far better guides than that nonsense in your link  ;D

Since you are using drugs you can train as hard as you mentally can take it.

If you feel ok then keep training as hard as you can.

Yep, just ignore science and many, many people who have done chest/back in the same workout with no issues.

Sorry, but back is smaller then shoulders, triceps, etc. That's a fact.

Complete nonsense post and if you don't understand how to set up various workout routines then there is not much that you can be helped with ;D

That is only if you are on high doses. I have to keep my size 215-225 for marketability purposes as a trainer I just trained some kid in  the Palisades for $200 an hour if I walked in at 260 pounds broken out with acne and bloated that would not be a good look. I can easily pass for natural in clothes and I’m pound for pound stronger than most pros. Getting wealthy is a bigger  priority for me than becoming a 270lb freak benching 600

Cool.

If you can train that kid for 40 hours a week you'll be in the top 1%.

40 x $200 = $8,000/wk x 52 = $416,000/yr.

I don't ignore science, I ignore your childish bullshit, you silly brat. What you are pointing out is the fact that you really don't know why there is so much talk about muscle groups, like all those you are training while training back:

Latissimus Dorsi (Lats)
Trapezius (Traps)
Erector Spinae (Spinal Erectors)
Rhomboid
Teres Major

Will exhausting all these take A. more or B. less energy than exhausting for example pair of school boys triceps? If you don't know, ask your mum etc.. ;D

Agree. No way can you exhaust chest then expect to properly hit back after. Just stupid. Unless you train with some half ass intensity then by all means have at it
