FBI Employee to FBI Attorney : ‘YOU PROMISED’ Trump Would Never Get Elected

The day after Donald Trump was elected president, an FBI employee engaged in an “instant message” conversation with an FBI attorney who had worked on the Clinton email investigation, then moved to the Russian meddling investigation, and would later become an attorney working with Special Counsel Robert Mueller on that investigation.

Speaking of Trump’s election, the FBI employee told the FBI lawyer: “You promised me this wouldn’t happen. YOU PROMISED.”

Later, in the same instant messaging exchange, according to the inspector general's report released today, the FBI attorney responded: “I am just devastated. I can’t wait until I can leave and just shut off the world for the next four days.”

This same FBI attorney then lamented that the newly elected Trump would likely dismantle the “progress” the outgoing President Obama had achieved.

“I just can’t imagine the systematic disassembly of the progress we have made over the last 8 years,” he said. “The ACA is gone. Who knows if the rhetoric about deporting people, walls, and crap is true.”

“We have to fight this again,” he went on to say.

“Also,” he said, “Pence is stupid.”

The other FBI employee with whom this FBI attorney was instant messaging expressed his view that Trump voters were "all poor to middle class, uneducated, lazy POS."

On Thursday, Inspector General Michael Horowitz released his much-anticipated report on FBI and DOJ actions during the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

Although the report was well over 500 pages and took a year and a half to produce, it is an incomplete investigation.

Inspector General Horowitz confirmed Friday his staff was unable to recover all of the ‘missing’ Strzok-Page text messages from Dec. 15, 2016- May 17 2017.

Later, on election day, in an instant message exchange with another FBI agent who had also worked on the Clinton investigation, this FBI agent declared: “screw you trump.”

The other agent said in the same instant-message exchange: “You should know…that I’m…with her.”

These two FBI investigators who were in a “relationship” while they were working on the Clinton email investigation later were married.

'Clinton Cash' author Peter Schweizer weighs in on 'Fox News @ Night with Shannon Bream' after the DOJ inspector general report on the FBI's handling of the Clinton email investigation is released.

President Obama was one of a select handful of individuals who had "direct contact" with Hillary Clinton on her private email account, Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz indicated in his bombshell report Thursday on the Clinton email probe.

In a footnote, the DOJ watchdog notes that "FBI analysts and Prosecutor 2 told us that former President Barack Obama was one of the 13 individuals with whom Clinton had direct contact using her clintonemail.com account."

The IG report adds that Obama used a pseudonym for his username and that, after intelligence analysts questioned whether Obama's communications contained classified information, it was determined the emails sent and received were not classified.

Obama said in a 2015 interview to CBS News that he learned about it "the same time everybody else learned it, through news reports."

Press Secretary Josh Earnest acknowledged shortly after those remarks attracted attention that Obama and Clinton did exchange emails.

"The president, as I think many people expected, did over the course of his first several years in office, trade emails with the secretary of state," he said.

Despite speculation at the time that the president would have noticed Clinton was not using a ".gov" account, Earnest said Obama nevertheless was unaware of Clinton's personal email server and how she was following federal records law.

Elsewhere in the IG report, the IG asked investigators why they made no effort to obtain the personal devices that Clinton’s senior aides were using at the State Department, since those devices were "potential sources of Clinton's ... classified emails" or places where unauthorized classified emails were being stored.

In response, officials on the probe claimed that "the culture of mishandling classified information at the State Department" was so pervasive that it "made the quantity of potential sources of evidence particularly vast" -- a rationale that the IG implied was unconvincing, because investigators could simply have obtained personal devices for a handful of key Clinton aides.

Investigators also claimed the State Department would be the better agency to handle that kind of deep-dive into Clinton's emails. In the end, Horowitz concluded that the issue was a "judgment call" and that there was no evidence improper political considerations influenced investigators' decisions.nd for a question to comment.

(CNSNews.com) - Then-FBI Attorney Lisa Page, who served as special counsel to then-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and who had an extramarital affair with FBI agent Peter Strzok, sent messages to McCabe, Strzok and a McCabe adviser warning that the FBI should be careful not to perturb Hillary Clinton in the way they structured their interview with her because “she might be our next president.”

As pointed out in the report released Thursday by the inspector general of the Department Justice, both Page and Strzok, who worked on the FBI investigation of Clinton's use of a private email server when she was secretary of state, were supportive of Clinton and antagonistic toward Donald Trump.

“God Hillary should win 100,000,000-0,” Strzok said, for example, in a text message to Page on March 3, 2016, when both Strzok and Page were involved in the Clinton investigation and Clinton was running in the Democratic primaries.

“God trump is a loathsome human,” Page said to Strzok in a text message that same day.

“The text messages between Page and Strzok covered a wide range of topics,” the IG report said. “For example, we identified a large number of routine work-related communications. Many of the text messages were of a personal nature, including discussions about their families, medical issues, and daily events, and reflected that Strzok and Page were communicating on their FBI-issued phones as part of an extramarital affair."

Graham laid out a good case for the FBI deciding to change language and not prosecute because not doing so would have required charging Hillary and therefore opening the door for a Trump victory which clearly was a concern of those involved in the Hillary investigation.
