Celebrity rape in America
« on: June 13, 2018, 10:06:38 PM »

So it seems in your country one can get convicted of rape if:

-some slut agreed to have sex with you to further her carrer
-30 years ago
-without a shred of evidence, except her word

Is that correct?
Shouldn't there be a statute of limitations(time) on that?
Even if it was real rape, there is no physical evidence whatsoever and you still get convicted.
You don't need to coerce her, just promise her a job and you're a rapist?

There is a statute of limitations in all fifty states.

Weinstein is being prosecuted for a sex crime that hasn't expired yet.

He will never be tried for Rose McGowan, Asia Argento or anyone else.

And he hasn't been convicted of anything.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

But then there is the court of public opinion. A very different thing.

If you don't understand, read the novel The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne.

In America, if your wife assaults you, and she breaks a nail while doing so, you are the one arrested.

Stallone is fine, they were long past the the statue of limitations in both States.

That being said, Nevada has raised the limit to twenty years, and California has done away with them all together, as have a lot of states.
While it seems like bullshit when something like the Stallone thing comes up, it isn't so bad when you look at the other side. Leaving them long or not having them at all allows for justice to be had in lots of circumstances.

For instance, here in the States, there have been lots of serial rapists (some of which turned into serial killers), child predators, etc.... that were let go because the statue of limitations had run out before a case could be made. Now with the longer limits or no limit at all, those people stand a better chance of going to prison.

DESOLATE: THANKS!

I had forgotten "the court of public opinion" which in the vast majority of these "Me Too" 'eposodes' makes the accused a guilty party before his day in court and thereby .... suffer some damn serious consequences.

And I am ALMOST positive that some of these Me Too accusations were no such thing as 'rape' in the days in which they occured ..... but rather consentual acts with the hopes of  obtaining a bit part in a  major motion picture.

And if I was the wealthy  Star which I am not today (nor ever have been yesterday) .... I'd be a Me Too target simply because I made the above statements.

And this may be a rarity but has any male member of the Hollywood crowd become an active Me Too participant by claiming that he was forced to have sex or was sexually molested by a prominant starlette, producer, director, or cartoon character, etc., etc. in order to get a motion picture role?

And have any of Hollywood's casting directors been accused yet?

And this whole Me Too story could eventually become a major motion picture if the "tables were turned" against the accusors. I  am sure that a team of motion picture script-writers are working on it as we speak.

Last question ..... Has the gay side of this Me Too episode been disclosed yet? I bet that there are  more stories there that have yet to be made public.

And is a pat on the back consider to be a sexual act in Hollywood now-a-days? Or does it have to be a pat on the ass to be an adverse sexual activity?

The statute of limitations for rape varies from state to state and whether it is considered a 1st, 2nd or 3rd degree crime. Here's a link to this information so you can check what it is in each of the states where charges are filed. You'll see that there is no statute of limitations in many states. http://www.revelist.com/feminism/statute-of-limitations-rape/4429

One thing in common among all these 'accused'  seems to be that they all have lots of money!

Ain't there any poor guys who are targeted by this ME Too group?

Or could it simply be possible that poor guys don't ever rape anyone!?

Could be we only hear about the famous ones. Famous usually equals money. Maybe it just seems that way.

Their money makes them feel powerful and invincible. Obviously fame plays an even larger role.
