He's also a future top 3 Mr. O. That back lat spread is very similar to Ronnie at his lighter weight. Once he nails his Olympia level conditioning, alot of people are gonna be left in the dust. His first show was in 2014....Not pro show. First show as an amateur. He's 37, 5'9. He has the goods to beat everyone sans Heath...for now. I'd love to see in a year against Phil. I give him top 10 this year.

This dude is oozing potential. Assuming he doesn't get injured or quit, he'll do very well.

That is Micheal Lockett actually not Griffen. Another very promising BB but think he is getting on if I am not mistaken.

Yes, if I were to break him down with my professional eye, I would say, he needs a little more size on his shoulders and quads because his waist is a little wide when standing relaxed. BUT when he poses, his body comes alive, it really pops and his waist doesn't look as wide when posing.
Other than that, I'm stunned this guy is where he is 4 years this month from never competing in the open. He's a better prospect for Mr. O than Ramy, DeAsha or Oliva. His age may seem like a problem but I don't think it is. His body is fresh he just has a shorter window for success.

His posing will get better as time goes on and he gets more confident.

Also no mention of his minimal clavicle width.
Correct about his waist being wide when relaxed
Short limbs don’t help his look either.

Great physique yes
Just too many flaws at that elite level I Believe.

The lighting at last weekend's Muscle Mayhem Pro was terrible. Atrocious. It was not flattering for any of the competitors.

The Muscle Mayhem promoters should get in touch with John Balik, who ran the old Iron Man pro shows. The Iron Man always had excellent lighting.

Correct. Also, I thought Ronnie's half brother, Corey Mathews was going to blow up.
Back lat spread does have that Ronnie-sque look to it. Arms defined, yet short. I had mentioned this dude before. Back detail is looking on point. Too bad Akim can't nail his conditioning or he'd be a modern Orville Burke.
