I had a couple of brews move in a couple doors down from me and they leave their pitbull chained to the porch and that beast snarls at me when I walk by. Terrifying

very obedient and well behaved if raised right and given the exercise and socialization they need, no kidding they won't be nice if all they know is being chained to the porch

My 4’10” 85lb wife has a pitbull when we got together, and got herself a Dogo Argentino as a wedding gift....best damn dogs ever

Best dog i ever owned. Chased 3 home invaders from our house when they attempted to break in. My guy was fearless and super loyal and yet very approachable if you were laid back. His ability to sense your intentions or "energy" was something else.

Although I agree the way they are displayed and used at times is pretty disgusting  and doesn't do the breed any favors.

Raised properly though, I highly doubt you'd ever have a problem. Hell, I had more problems with other breeds running around off leash and approaching my dog barking and instigating.

Sometimes I cringe when I see some small stature  women handling these dogs. If shit ever hit the fan they wouldn't know what the hell to do or have the physical ability to do anything. If you're dog is literally pulling you down the street you got problems.

I think the problem is you've never known a Pitbull that was  an indoor family pet of non Hebrews.  If all you know is anti social chained up ghetto Pitbulls, then you don't know or understand the real Pitbull.

This Pitbull is a dependent of grand champion Mayday.  I say that to indicate this is very much a Pitbull, but also to show what the true temperament of fighting dogs is.
