most of the elite guys are elite immediately, ronnie is the exception but he was at least qualifying for the olympia every year

no point in competing if you aren't a potential O winner

That's Andy Haman, they both had a similar "blond hope" thing going on, but Haman's schtick was bring a fit older guy.

wasnt Duval the one who tried wrestling? or am i thinking of someone else? I met Duval at a gym here in Hawaii, he wasnt working out or anything just relaxing at the juice bar, nice guy, really down to earth, sad to hear.

Looks good. Holding extra bodyweight is uncomfortable, why hold more than he needs to? He's probably in better shape than 99.9% of American men of any age.

Chris could have been a top pro. He was just entering his prime and had no real weak points.
