The Supreme Court ruled Tuesday in favor of President Donald Trump in Trump v. Hawaii, the controversial case regarding concerning Trump's September order to restrict travel to the U.S. for citizens of several majority Muslim countries.

In the 5-4 opinion penned by Chief Justice John Roberts, the court found that Trump's immigration restriction fell "squarely" within the president's authority. The court rejected claims that the ban was motivated by religious hostility.



The Supreme Court has just upheld Trump’s travel ban, giving Trump the final victory on this issue:

Well I don’t think this is a surprise to any of us, as the court always seemed to side with the Trump administration on this issue.

Hollywood stars are enraged over the Supreme Court ruling Tuesday that upheld Donald Trump’s travel ban.

“Will and Grace” star Debra Messing called the ruling “devastating,” and urged her followers to vote in this year’s upcoming midterm elections. “Voting is our best defense,” she said.

Others were more concise with their feelings. “Silicon Valley” star Kumail Nanjiani said, “Muslim bans are now legal forever.”

Several celebrities also suggested that the ruling might not have gone in Trump’s favor had the seat, vacated by Antonin Scalia, gone to Barack Obama’s nominee Merrick Garland, and not to Trump’s nominee Neil Gorsuch.

“That stolen SCOTUS seat, though,” former “Community” star Yvette Nicole Brown tweeted. “That’s for LIFE.”

I guess this makes sense given the fact that of the 15 of the 19 hijackers involved in the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, were from Saudi Arabia. Two of them were from the U.A.E., and one was from Egypt.

Those countries are included in the ban....right?

There's no excuse for this thing having to go all the way to the Supreme Court.

Trump eventually got a victory but the American people continue to take an "L" because the country is full of activist judges that ignore the Constitution.

Looking forward to when Ginsberg is out which should be soon.  We need more people on the court that will interpret the Constitution, not wipe their ass with it.

Believe it or not this is exactly how the founders intended the system to work .
It's a system of checks and balances with 3 co-equal branches.
It's NOT based on the rule of one supreme leader or king.

No shit Sherlock.  The problem isn't checks and balances, the problem is lower courts intentionally ignoring the Constitution and ruling based on their own feelings and personal bias.

Trump had the authority to enact the travel ban.  It was spelled out in plain English.  Still we had to go through this long protracted charade because some judges are "woke".

I guess we need to get rid of any judge who won't always agree with King Don and avoid the hassle.
