Sears seems to be on it's last legs. They probably did you a favor.

I was working at Sears and Roebuck for the last 8 years. I was head cashier and seller of merchandise. However, recently I was laid off from work and me and my girlfriend of 2 years separated. Not to mention the transmission on my car is totally shot and I have next to nothing in my bank account to buy a new car.

Any advice?

You can probably blame Amazon for that. And their jobs suck ass.

How's your credit? Pretty easy to get approved for a cheaper car if it's good.

Dude,  buy a bike, ride to work (you'll get exercise) apply to work at Whole foods, they pay good, get good discount on food, also get bonuses on health markers and optimal blood work. Also apply for a part time job at Chipotle,  free food, good bodybuilding meals, rice/meats/veggies/avocado. Usually theres hot girls that work at both of these locations, on breaks you will get to know them, if you have any game you will eventually hook up with one. Now you have,  job/food/exercise/girlfriend.

I really enjoy your outlook on life.

I think your philosophy is the celestial plane that Johnny Falcon is attempting to reach.

I have a sentimental attachment to Sears and really want them to succeed. People in my generation grew with Sears. Getting their catalog was a big thing in our household. I started my home gym at 15 yrs old with their 110lb weight set and their adjustable bench so you could flats and inclines. But damn it's become such a shitty store. Place is always a mess. They don't keep up with stocking the shelves. And you can never find anyone to help you or even a cashier. You often have to stand by the register and try to flag someone down.

Today, after work, I decided to stop by the Windward Mall and their food court. After I went to Sears because I needed to get a new belt and some white T-shirts. Such a shitty selection. The racks were bare and I couldn't even find the size of shirt that I needed. A large v-neck t-shirt. None. The only belts they had were 38 and larger. Didn't have a single 34" belt. So, like I do with most things now. I order off Amazon.

Too bad. It would nice to support a store in your community.

Kill yourself.  Hope this helps.

Pretty low bro. Never say that to a person. Ive had a few friends who took that route and it gets to me.

For sf i would say that you need to focus on getting a new job. Even a shitty one so cash comes in and you meet people.

A new girl will come across sooner or later but try to focus on a job now so you have a better everyday situation than now. You will bounce back!
