Life is hard....
« on: June 28, 2018, 11:34:16 AM »
I was working at Sears and Roebuck for the last 8 years. I was head cashier and seller of merchandise. However, recently I was laid off from work and me and my girlfriend of 2 years separated. Not to mention the transmission on my car is totally shot and I have next to nothing in my bank account to buy a new car.

Any advice?

Too bad you have no mechanical abilities, you would have been better off getting a blue collar job with some sort of skillset.

Absolutely! Leave where you live now.  Come to Tx.  The unemployment rate is lowest it’s probably ever been, if someone here doesn’t have a job it’s because they don’t want one or aren’t physically able.  And these aren’t bull shit jobs either, if you are willing to work you can and will earn 80 to 120 k per year.  Do this for the rest of trumps presidency and save as much as possible then reevaluate what you want to do.

I am pretty handy. Can change lightbulbs, unscrew screws, hammer nails, etc.

SF's "troubles" make you think sometimes, here's my month in a nutshell.

Wife's car yesterday, $1100.00 (4 tires, brakes, rotors, bearing, etc). Last week, daughters car, $600.00 (transmission leak, rear wheel bearing, etc).
Fridge died, $1200.00 for new one.

Daughter went to S. Korea for school (9K)... Rains it pours, thank god Im a GetBig millionaire.
(Well, 20 year IT Engineer anyways)...

Do you have any familiarity with transistors?

Don’t let your current situation get you down mate there are plenty good opportunities available

Work for Johnny falcon mowing lawns

Start a homosexual relationship with Vince Goodrum CSN MFT HHP and live off his income while you do housekeeping duties in his new home

Claim to have fallen on hard times and get a fellow Getbigger to ask the rest of getbig for money on your behalf that you promise to pay back at an unspecified point in the future before leaving getbig forever

Catch aids due to dubious activities in rabbit themed attire so you qualify for sick/disability benefits

Man, that fucking sucks >:(

Best advice that I can give you: try to stay as calm as possible and work on your financial situation (i.e. finding sources of income and a strict budget plan). Best of luck!
