uh he quit twice ::)

once to play baseball, and the other time because he hated the bulls owner, then he got fired by washington ;D

his era was "physically tougher" because they lacked skill, "tough guys" like charles oakley could never play in today's league, you gotta be able to actually shoot the ball today

the media loves jordan and does all that they can to discredit the king and keep the jordan mystique alive

E

Jordan never quit during a game or series.  He also didn't wrap a scarf around his hand to pretend it was broken.

Jordan was the terminator of athletes.  No one had a greater will to win, or competitive drive.  Jordan would destroy Leflop if they had faced each other.

lebron with horrible teammates made the finals

jordan with horrible teammates in washington couldn't even make the playoffs, will you guys get real for once?  the nostalgia for jordan is out of control

E

Horrible compared to the warriors maybe, but then everyone is horrible compared to the warriors. His team this year was the highest paid in the league, full of speciialists in every area, and walked through the east practically blindfolded.Lebron hand picked them all.Its on him. Also he started this superfriends colluding, now he is paying the price for it.

lol, i'm surprised that lebron knows how 2 tie his own shoes... dude is an imbecile.

Lebron James is a potato brained retard.  If he was 5'8" instead of 6'8" he would be robbing gas stations for drug money.

Going to the Lakers isn't going to win him anymore rings.  The Warriors just signed Cousins and now essentially have all-star talent 1 through 5.

Lebronze might as well retire.

so jordan will be 3rd best all time when somebody tops lebron

lebron started to win when he actually had decent teammates, why is that hard for you jordan fan boys to accept?  nobody does it by themselves, though the king came quite close in 2015 and 2018, jordan tried with the wizards and couldn't even make the playoffs LOL

i don't diminish accomplishments i just state facts, who do you think would be tougher to stop the warriors and their 4 all stars plus a finals mvp in igoudala or greg ostertag and bryan russel?

that's what you guys do when talking about the king and i agree it is very womanlike

E

Could you imagine a scenario where Jordan lost to a team in a best of 7 where Andre Igoudala was named series MVP?

You're cute Earl. It's sad you can't have a grown up conversation and instead you talk about a 40 year old Jordan who was out of the game for 4 years and compare that to LeBron at his peak.

LeBron, with a prime Wade (the best 2 guard of that time and many say 3rd best 2guard of all time) and prime Boshbeat  lost to a Dirk Nowitzki led team with legends like JJ Barrera and Jason Terry and a 40 year old Jason Kidd....

The next year he beats a young non tested Oklahoma City team (that had 3 future MVPs). That's impressive.

Then it takes 7 SEVEN games to beat an old Spurs team, a win that happens because HOF Ray Allen hits a crazy corner 3 (do you think Steve Kerr and John Paxson are better than Ray Allen, at any point in their respective careers? Don't forget Kerr played with those Spurs).

The next year the even older spurs beat the Heat, with an in his PRIME LeBron, in 5 games.....

Karl Malone, John Stockton, Gary Payton, Shawn Kemp, Charles Barkley, Kevin Johnson, Clyde Drexler, Magic Johson, James Worthy all garbage.

But Jordan beat the team's he was supposed to beat.

LeBron may be a better overall talent but he isn't the competitor, nor the champion, Jordan is.

Let's see: Lebron had two players average over 26 in a finals along with him (Irving-28pts and Wade). Jordan never had anything near that.
Jordan has 3 more rings
Jordan has more final mvps
More defensive player of the years
More MVP's
9 more scoring titles
3 more steals leader
3 more all defensive teams
Beat 20 50+ win teams in the playoffs
Jordan never averaged less then 40% field goals in the finals. Lebron has twice
Lebron had much more help
Jordan had more points in the playoffs in less games
That's in 13 seasons
Jordan averaged 40ppg, 5rpg, 5apg along with average of 55% shooting, 3 spg, 2 bpg in 6 different series

Could go on.

LeBron lost to a team in the Finals whose second-best player was Jason Terry.

Also owes one of "his" championships 100% to a Ray Allen miracle three-pointer.

Love how lovers of LeBron's BBC act like Jordan's Bulls were stacked with superstars.  The third-best offensive player he played with was probably Toni Kukoc.

Love also how lovers of LeBron's BBC always blame his teammates when he loses in the Finals as has happened nearly every time he's reached it, but the one constant on all those losing efforts is...LeBron.  A full two thirds of his Finals wins are tainted (Ray Allen bailout in 2013 noted above, plus Draymond suspension in 2016, both seven-game series wins).  Jordan 6-0 with six convincing wins, never even went to a game 7, case is closed my friends.

White people shouldn't be paying to watch anything that has more than 2 black guys in it , unless they are trying to kill each other, particularly when the majority of these same blacks  hate white people or "white culture" and go out if their way to put it down any chance they get.

That's a lot of money to put a ball in a basket. Wonder if he knows how to do basic division or knows who the speaker of the house is? But yeah, people worship him anyway so, whatever. Good negotiating skills I guess.

Anyone numbskull can do what you wrote above. Can you ball like bron?

Dear Los Angeles: LeBron James is an avid cyclist. Please don't run him over

LeBron James is coming to Los Angeles. For the next three years at least, the greatest basketball player in the world will be playing for the Lakers.

But while we’re all still celebrating the purple and gold’s impending return to basketball relevance, here’s a fun fact I’d like to remind my fellow Angelenos: Our new basketball savior doesn’t like to drive.

Not only does he not like to drive, LeBron James is a cyclist. It’s his preferred method of transit. He’s been known to ride his bike to and from games. He holds annual “bike-a-thon” charity events in home state of Ohio. He bought a stake in the bike company Cannondale. He’s even got the spandex.

he quit the whole game twice and probably a 3rd time too because his wizard stint was an absolute failure, how many times do i have to say that? ::)

And I don't think his tenure at the Wizards represents him at his best and strongest. While no one doubts Lebron - one of the few players at the time (2001) recruited out of high school rather than college - is truly talented at his sport, he isn't an icon or an American sports legend in the eyes of most people. Outside of basketball, few know who he is. Everyone knows Jordan over 20 years after he hung up his shorts. So while this has nothing to do with athletic ability, Jordan will always tower over Lebron just in terms of his stature within the industry and the American general population. I also feel in the 1980s he was indestructible, like Tyson. Lebron has been stopped many times on the court.

he's less of a legend because the fanboys of jordan go out of their way to discredit everything he does, jordan had the best marketing campaign ever and he wisely stuck to basketball and only basketball because "republicans buy shoes too", lebron actually voices his opinion outside of basketball

jordan has zero titles in the 80's so he was stopped EVERY time in the 80's

was he at his best with the wizards?  probably not but to not even make the playoffs is a huge black mark against him that the fan boys conveniently ignore

he never would've came back if he knew that would be the result but like i said lucky for him people pretend he never missed a shot in his career so all is forgiven and forgotten

1. True

2. True

3. True, but that draft wasn't loaded with stars passing on Pau is a mistake in hindsight but at the time so was drafting him 3rd. That said Jordan is a horrible executive.

4. True

5. Those guys were traded they didn't sign as free agents, LeBron, Wade and Bosh were the perfect storm of free agents in their Prime and they forever changed the league.

Good points Earl.

no i can't imagine jordan losing to a team with igoudola as mvp because if jordan had those jobbers as his teammates he wouldn't have made the finals

no excuse for jordan to miss the playoffs no matter what his age was, he clearly was good enough because if he wasn't he wouldn't have bothered to return, you guys give him more credit for missing the playoffs than you'll give lebron for losing to an all star team in the finals, now is that "cute" or what?

as for dirk he played out of his mind and i'll agree lebron disappointed that year

ray allen?  he hit one shot and that's what you haters remember, you forget lebron was clearly the best player and unanimous mvp, was it kerr or paxson that hit the game winner to close out the jazz in 97?  the spurs were a great team, 5 titles prove it no shame in losing to them and better to lose to them in the finals then jordan losing to a less talented pistons team in the 80's in the conference finals

what teams other than the mavericks was lebron "supposed" to beat?  he did not have wade at his best and bosh shouldn't be a future hall of famer but if he is it's solely because he rode lebron's coattails

which is just more proof his team would've been slaughtered by the warriors, timing was everything for jordan

not having internet and social media helped a ton too, it protected his image

no i can't imagine jordan losing to a team with igoudola as mvp because if jordan had those jobbers as his teammates he wouldn't have made the finals Yes he would have. The East is awful

no excuse for jordan to miss the playoffs no matter what his age was, he clearly was good enough because if he wasn't he wouldn't have bothered to return, you guys give him more credit for missing the playoffs than you'll give lebron for losing to an all star team in the finals, now is that "cute" or what?don't get up set about the truth. Jordan on the wizards is 50 year oldLevrone competing against Heath, your eyes are so filled with tears you can't see clearly

as for dirk he played out of his mind and i'll agree lebron disappointed that year Fair

ray allen?  he hit one shot and that's what you haters remember, you forget lebron was clearly the best player and unanimous mvp, was it kerr or paxson that hit the game winner to close out the jazz in 97?  the spurs were a great team, 5 titles prove it no shame in losing to them and better to lose to them in the finals then jordan losing to a less talented pistons team in the 80's in the conference finals  LeBron is the best player in the League for 10 straight years. The best player wins. No shame in losing to the Spurs but they were on the decline LeBron and company were at the peak of their powers. They were so deep Ray Allen played the same role of Steve Kerr and Paxson. Lol at less talented pistons team. The Lakers and Celtics of that era were garbage too right?

what teams other than the mavericks was lebron "supposed" to beat?  he did not have wade at his best and bosh shouldn't be a future hall of famer but if he is it's solely because he rode lebron's coattails Not true. Wade was still in his PRIME and an all NBA talent as was Bosh. Bosh, much like Love, was a star who changed his game (and they should have) to fit in. Those team's  should not have had so much trouble with the spurs and should not have lost the second series. Losing to the warriors is understandable
