Vince - what are your thoughts on Jesse Owens
« on: July 20, 2018, 09:14:11 AM »
and how he was treated better in NAZI Germany than back in the good ole JEWSA?

Does this conflict with your "white supremacist" mumbo jumbo, or have you found a way to remain happily in a state of cognitive dissonance?

I actually agree with him.  Hitler treated black people in Germany better than our treatment at the time in America.   We could stay in hotels, eat at the same restaurants, and use the same bathroom as other white people.   Hitler actually shoke hands with Jesse Owens and congratulated him despite being annoyed.

Jesse Owens after winning gold for the US had to ride a fucking freight elevator to his own welcome home party.   President Roosevelt never congratulated him or invited him to the White House.   Then to add insult, they yanked the guy's  amateur status because he needed to earn some money for his family and the guy  was left with working as a gas station attendant and other menial jobs.  Then the honkeys prosecuted the n i g g a  for tax evasion.

Jesse Owens from what I understood kept a picture of Hitler in his home and in his wallet......and I honestly can't blame him.   Wins gold the America and ends up with a red white and blue flagpole up his ass   :-\

Can you offer references for this encounter? I'm only familiar with the image that western media has painted of Hitler, the opiate addled white supremacist that took over Europe, turned on Russia, had his own soldiers march to their demise while trying to invade and the tyrant who killed Jews in concentration camps.

I'd like to hear more about the benevolent individual who was the Time man of the year.

I love to read Vince's take on certain matters. Mostly because I enjoy reading his posts in his voice and adding the southern "here & there's" wherever I can.

Vince, when's the next video going to be up? Can you post a link to your youtube channel?

The Germans didn’t really like black folk, nor did other Europeans. The French were enthralled  with American blacks more so they were with the Africans from their colonies. But was about the physical. Euros cut up Africa like a pizza. Germans had African soldiers, however, like anything else, a black body can take bullet...

And how were we treated in the US in 1936???   I'd rather be gassed by Hitler than hanged by the Klan.

Hitler may have thought we were inferior but black people were still better treated in Nazi Germany for all the reasons I mentioned.

The official stance of the Nationalist Socialist government was that non-White people were ineligible for German citizenship either retroactively or at any time in the present or future. The same applied to any other race or ethnicity that wasn't originally of European or non-Jewish origin. To that end, gypsies, Blacks, Arabs, and other minorities were considered second class citizens, and barred from serving in the military, government, or (eventually) private enterprise. This is accurate.

It's also true that Owens shook hands with Hitler, but not at the end of his successful sprint; he famously declined to do it at that time, not because of government policy but because the head of the Olympic committee had told him the day before to avoid congratulating any athlete after he'd shook hands with a German who'd won a gold medal. The photo Owens kept was of Hitler shaking his hand after the run, and this claim was made by Siegfried Mischner, whose statements were included in a book written about him by Jeremy Schaap. Why a respected sports reporter would fabricate this story or denigrate his memory is hard to explain; he had nothing to gain, and his comments in the book is otherwise favorable pretty much from cover to cover (I have it in my bookcase). Keep in mind Owens supposedly made these statements in the 1960s, long after the events. Blacks who came home after World War II were spat upon, kicked, punched, and generally treated worse than at any time in German POW camps, let alone in general society. It is therefore believable that Jesse Owens had a more favorable impression of that country than the United States, which only reluctantly started giving Blacks basic rights 30 years later. Once someone's slighted you early in life, your view of them is forever changed negatively. It's entirely possible that he went to his grave feeling he wasn't appreciated by his team or his country when he represented them at his best at the 1936 Olympics.

Either way you’d be dead.

Don’t be absurd, being a novelty is no different. When the novelty wears off, its back to where you came from. Just like during post Reconstruction. What to do with this population of negroes because slavery is over.

Is that the southern negro mindset coming out of you? ”rather be treated”. Like you some dog, wanted to liked and treated “well” even though a person thinks you are inferior. The Nazis were a better organized and better dressed version of the Klan, and they actually showed their faces. Klan had shotguns, bedsheets, dogs, and burnt crosses and held political offices, yet hid their faces. Claim they were Christians, yet we’re the most un-Christian like folks, couldn’t follow the 10 Commandments if they were paid to do so. Nazis had a plan, planes, all types of weapons, and a doctrine . A person like you would have not existed in either place in that time frame.

No I would have made my way to France and stay chill or if possible, Morroco.  If I saw shit coming, i would have got out Dodge.  If i was born in the US at that time, I would have headed to Chicago and then to Toronto and worked in the logging business.  I moved to Greenville to get away from my old running buddies who decided to go sell drugs and rob people.  I moved to Piedmont for low property taxes and quiet country living

I'm not set with being anywhere.  I move when its needed.

Jesse Owens was not the only famous American black man to have a favorable view of NAZI Germany.

Famed African American sociologist, historian, civil rights activist, Pan-Africanist, author, writer and editor W. E. B. Du Bois was sent to NAZI Germany by a bunch of rich anti German Jews to expose how evil they were.

To the horror of his sponsors, he came back to the USA with many many good things to say about the Germans.  He stated that he had been treated with warmth and respect.

He even stated that blacks in the USA were treated WORSE than Jews were treated in Germany.

W. E. B. Du Bois said blacks were treated better in Nazi Germany than America

Quote
Professor W.E.B. DuBois of Atlanta on the Jews in the Reich

“The situation is regrettable, but not comparable to that of the Negros”

Quote
On the other hand the professor observed an unconditional trust in National Socialism and in Hitler and the thankfulness of the order that he has created and for all of the good that he has done during the four years of his time in office.

Quote
The treatment of the negro shows, as Dr. DuBois expressed, “not a trace at all of racial hatred” and the attitude of the German Press, during the Olympic Games, was completely fair, even friendly to the towards the colored athletes.

http://originalpeople.org/w-e-b-du-bois-nazi-germany/

BTW Parker  is one of the most ignorant posters on this forum.  Wouldn't even bother watching his Jewish sponsored fictional movies that he posted. The guy gets his history out of comics.

Interesting article. It's also interesting to note that W.E.B. Du Bois was in Germany during the last half of 1936 and it was 1938 when the situation drastically changed for Jews.

I actually am someone who is a hardcore study in World History.  It never lies.  What is taught in schools these days is a bunch of propaganda bullshit and editing.  When I tell people that many black people owned slaves of their own...they literally flip their kids but facts are facts and to distort them for racial or social negotiation is morally wrong so beat it spook....

Still have it...going to sell it.   After considering things, going off grid is way too expensive and would not have resulted in any real savings.   That's why I moved to Piedmont and bought a Clayton Eclipse 60.   It was a much better solution.  Eventually I'll get solar panels for the home but there's honestly no rush
